Ronan’s Christmas card design is joyful and triumphant

Six-year-old Ronan Holley from St Nicholas C of E Infants School in Wallingford was the winner of the Chair of Oxfordshire County Council’s Christmas nativity card competition.

Councillor Felix Bloomfield is the Chair of the council for 2023/4. He said: “I was delighted to attend St Nicholas Church of England Infants School in Wallingford on 19 December to award Ronan his winners’ prize for my Christmas Nativity card competition.

“I was hugely grateful to the enormous number of primary pupils and their schools from across the county that took part, well done to them all. Ronan designed a fantastic card that I felt was the worthy winner despite a wealth of other wonderful entries.

“Ronan's design stood out with its bright vibrant colours and strong composition combining to make a happy and joyful image that made me smile and captured how we should all feel at Christmas time. His design now graces the front of my Christmas cards and is truly joyful and triumphant.”
