Autism Family Support receives interim funding from Oxfordshire County Council

The charity Autism Family Support Oxfordshire has received a one-off grant from Oxfordshire County Council to allow it to continue providing vital parenting support to families.

The council’s one-off grant and offer of professional advice and links has been agreed following extensive discussions and has been provided as an intermediate step to give Autism Family Support Oxfordshire time to find alternative long term funding.

Councillor Kate Gregory, Oxfordshire County Council’s Cabinet Member for SEND Improvement, said: “Where practical, we always aim to work closely with dedicated expert charities to ensure the very best support for children and families across the county.

“We have been discussing the options to support Autism Family Support Oxfordshire over several weeks, and today I’m delighted that we are able to share the outcome.”
