Two nights of work planned for Frideswide Square, Oxford

Work to resurface bus bays and traffic lane on Frideswide Square will take place overnight on 26 and 27 September between 8pm and 6am on both nights.

The road through Frideswide Square will be closed to traffic both nights between 8pm and 6am. A two-way diversion route will be in place via Becket Street, Osney Lane, Hollybush Row.

Two-way temporary signals will be installed to aid the manoeuvre from Becket Street to Osney Lane. There will also be a temporary suspension of the loading bay and disabled parking bay on Becket Street from the 26 September from 4pm through to 28 September 6am.

Eastbound and Westbound bus stops, currently in Frideswide Square, will also be temporarily relocated to Park End Street for the duration of the work.

The team will maintain access to businesses and properties for deliveries at all times. Pedestrian routes through the square and to all frontages will also be maintained at all times.
