Speed limit reduction proposed for Banbury's Warwick Road

A consultation has opened on plans to extend a 30mph speed limit along Warwick Road in Banbury and install a new pedestrian crossing.

The proposals would see a reduction in the current 40mph stretch of the road northwards to the roundabout junction with Dukes Meadow. The toucan crossing would be installed 30 metres north of Firtree Close. Both measures are in response to ongoing development along Warwick Road.

People are invited to have their say on the proposals by visiting https://consultations.oxfordshire.gov.uk/consult.ti/B4100WarwickRoadSpeedCrossing/consultationHome

The consultation runs until 6 October.
