Safeguarding Requirements
It is important that all childcare and early education settings, including childminders, comply with the safeguarding requirements in the EYFS Statutory Framework and with the requirements of the Oxfordshire Safeguarding Children Board (OSCB). Providers must also have regard for the 2015 edition of the Government's statutory guidance ‘Working Together to Safeguard Children’.

This information sheet provides clarification on exactly how you can book on to the OSCB’s safeguarding training, answering questions that are frequently asked. It also explains which training courses are for specific staff members, and explains how you could become more involved in the delivery of safeguarding training.
