New crossing in North Hinksey

A new puffin crossing is to be installed on the B4044 West Way to replace an existing staggered pedestrian crossing by the West Way Shopping Centre at North Hinksey.

The plans are part of a proposed redevelopment of the West Way Shopping Centre and funding has been provided by the developers.

Oxfordshire County County Council’s Leader Ian Hudspeth approved the puffin crossing plans at a meeting on April 12.
