Councillor Liz Leffman, Leader of Oxfordshire County Council, said: “Each year in May the council holds its annual meeting and that is the right time for changes to be considered on cabinet. Sometimes councillors decide it is the right time to step down and we thank them for the tremendous amount of work they have put in on behalf of the people of Oxfordshire.
“That is certainly the case for Cllrs Gant, Roberts and Hannaby who have each dedicated themselves to their portfolios with distinction. We are incredibly grateful for their efforts and look forward to continuing to work for them as they represent their own individual parts of Oxfordshire as county councillors.
“Meanwhile we have the pleasure of welcoming newcomers to the cabinet and we look forward to working with them on all of the challenges and opportunities the council faces.”
