Minor patching makes a big difference on road in Wantage

A piece of road that had become a ‘pigs ear’ on Ham Lane in Wantage is back in prime condition thanks to Oxfordshire County Council.

The short stretch of failing bitumin was dug out by workers from the county council’s contractors, Skanska, filled and rolled leaving a permananet and smooth repair.

The work was done as part of the county council’s minor patching programme which targets relatively small areas of resurfacing that take care of potholes and other underlying problems.
