Major water leak at Heyford Hill roundabout

Updated: Sunday, 9 October at 10:16

A full pressurised water supply has now been returned to households and businesses (in OX1, OX2, OX3, OX4, OX9, OX10, OX14, OX33, OX39 (4NA), OX44, HP17 and HP18) that were affected by a burst water main on Tuesday 4 October at the Heyford Hill roundabout on the Oxford Ring Road.

Any residents who experience low water pressure are asked to report the problem by contacting Thames Water. Residents can also access information on what to expect when the water is back on at Thames Water’s website.

The A4142 Eastern Bypass from Heyford Hill to Rose Hill Roundabout re-opened on Sunday morning.

Anyone who needs to travel by car, should plan ahead and can check @OxonTravel for updates and the county’s park and ride options.
