Launton gets new footway

There’s a new length of footway in Launton thanks to the county and parish councils and local developers.

Oxfordshire County Council has just finished building the new path between the existing bus shelter located on the south verge to the access to the nursery at the periphery of the village.

Following discussions with Launton Parish Council it was decided to use funding from developer contributions associated with the recent developments within the village.

Station Road is the main route for pedestrians residing within the properties along Sycamore Road, Blenheim Drive and the proposed development at Yew Tree Farm. The path means that people can now get around without walking in the road.
