Traffic

Work will start on 9 March to lower Virgin Media services and this work will require temporary traffic lights on the B4493.
The existing bridleway is now temporarily closed.

Jobs completed

The team is making good progress on a range of tasks on the Harwell Link Road project.

All the tree removal is now completed and work on surface water drainage is now into the second week, with another week left to go. Work to move the BT cables and equipment on the A417 is also now complete.

Things ongoing

Work has started early and is progressing well with the importing of “stone fill” at the B4493. The team are progressing northwards along the link road where there needs to be a large quantity of filling in done (as much as 4m) to bring the new road up to the level of the existing road.
