Kennington Road work is going well

Here’s a quick look at the progress our team are making with the resurfacing on Kennington Road.
The old worn surface has been stripped off and the crew are seen here putting down the ‘binder’ layer. You won’t see this once the work is finished, but it’s interesting and shows they are making good progress.
The repairs on Kennington Road are being done as a result of the extra £10m that the county council has put into road repairs for this year – effectively doubling the amount we spend on fixing highways.
