Henley residents help speed up road improvement work
Residents on Kings Road in Henley gave up a night’s peace and quiet so that the county council could resurface their road this week.
The driving surface had deteriorated and was in need of renewal - a job that would ordinarily be done over two or three daytime closures. However, following discussion with our highway team, it was agreed that doing the work in one go overnight would mean less disruption overall.
So now Kings Road is back to normal and the road surface as good as new.
