Have your say on Harwell speed limit proposals

People are being asked to make their views known on proposals to alter speed limits on roads in Harwell.

Oxfordshire County Council is proposing to introduce a 20 mph speed limit on existing roads and on new development roads in Harwell as follows:

• on Grove Road from Drewitts Corner to a point 410 metres west,

• on Barrow Lane, Barrow Road, Manor Green, Talbot Close and The Croft, in place of the existing 30mph speed limit on these roads

• on all the new roads under construction accessed via a new junction on the north side of Grove Road approximately 75 metres west of Manor Green.

The council also proposes to introduce a 40mph speed limit on the rest of Grove Road westwards to its junction with the A4130, in place of the existing national speed limit.

The full details of the proposals can be found here and people have until 18 August 2017 to respond.
