The work never ends for our highway fixing munchkins who have just finished repairing the Yellow Brick Road in Didcot.

Rather than being situated in the fictional land of Oz, or leading to the home of national treasure Elton John, this one is a running route through the thriving Oxfordshire town.

But despite being slightly less glitzy than its name suggests, it was in need of some attention so the crew spent a day walking and fixing every loose brick they found. And yes, we know, it’s not very yellow really is it?
