First of their kind signs installed in Woodcote

The importance of safety on Woodcote’s roads has been reflected by new signage installed by the county council this month, as the South Oxfordshire village became home to the county’s first ‘high visibility keep left Chevroflex’ signs.

A modern variation of the well-used ‘Chevroflex’ signs – which have been helping drivers navigate sharp bends across Oxfordshire for many years – have been installed along the A4074 (pictured).

They are more effective at highlighting hazards on rural roads due to their reflective bollards which improve sharpness and definition.

Not only are these bollards highly visible, they are made from flexible material that would bounce back if a vehicle was to hit them, staying intact.
