Early years autism training

Earlier in the year Oxfordshire successfully bid to be the regional training hub for the Autism Education Trust levels 1-3 early years autism training. We will be doing this in partnership with Buckinghamshire Learning Trust and Puzzle Centre, an autism charity which runs a specialist nursery.

About the course

This is a level 3 course for SENCos, managers and Early Years Foundation Stage co-ordinators.

The course will give you the knowledge, skills and resources to take a lead in development of good autism practice throughout your early years setting.

Learning outcomes

  • To enable practitioners to take the lead in ensuring that the whole setting works together to meet the needs of children with autism.
  • To have the knowledge and tools to draw up a setting action plan using the AET early years autism standards.

Dates & location

Friday 26 February, 9.30am – 3.30pm @ CMS Conferencing, Watlington Road, Oxford, OX4 6BZ.

The course cost is £95, including lunch.
