Council smooths way for pedestrians on Church Lane in Witney

Church Lane Witney

The footways on Church Lane in Witney have been spruced up by Oxfordshire County Council.

The old pitted surfaced footway with damaged kerbs and granite setts has been replaced with new kerbing providing and a fresh, new running surface suitable especially for those in wheel chairs or buggies.

The work cost just over £36,400 and was paid for from the county council’s footway programme budget.
