Baby Week comes to Oxfordshire
Families with young children and health professionals can look forward to a range of events across the county to mark Baby Week 2025, taking place 14 - 21 November.
Oxfordshire County Council is joining partners to participate in this national initiative, which brings different sectors and services together to champion the early years.
The theme for 2025, ‘healthy parent, healthy baby’, highlights the link between a child’s wellbeing and the health, support and resilience of their caregiver.
Councillor Kate Gregory, Oxfordshire County Council’s Cabinet Member for Public Health and Inequalities, said: “Joining in with Baby Week offers a wonderful opportunity for families, health professionals and local organisations to come together, share experiences and learn from one another.
“The week aims to foster a sense of community through a variety of activities designed to support the health and development of babies and their parents.
“By participating, attendees can access valuable resources, expert advice and practical support tailored to the needs of Oxfordshire’s youngest residents and their families.”
The programme will shine a light on parental health and wellbeing, feeding and prenatal nutrition, movement and activity, early learning, healthy families and communities and much more.
Launch events will be held on Friday 14 November at Toddlers World, White Horse Leisure & Tennis Centre, and at the Rose Buds Stay & Play session in Rose Hill, with events across the county and online throughout the week. Residents can find out what’s on by visiting Baby Week Oxfordshire’s website.
