Agatha Christie’s trail gets an upgrade

The latest twist in the county council’s story of county-wide road improvements has seen Wallingford Road in Cholsey – where the late Dame Agatha Christie lived and was laid to rest – resurfaced by the road repairs team.

As the pictures show, the road was in desperate need of repair, so our team got to work on patching a large section to ensure it was safe for the many cyclists and drivers that use the road every day.

With almost 3,000 miles of road to look after across the county, we need your help – tell us how we can help you fix your street at https://fixmystreet.oxfordshire.gov.uk/.
