A44 in Wolvercote to undergo short inspection

Road users along the A44 at Wolvercote can expect a short period of work on a section of the road between the Wolvercote and Peartree roundabouts from 22 February. The work is being conducted to inspect the utilities network.

The inspection work will involve small trial pits by staff from the utility companies which will be fully replaced to understand the location of electricity and communication services.

The work means that the A44 northbound lane will be closed for up to five days from 22 February to 26 February each day between 9.30-1530. The footpath will also be diverted during these hours of work.

The schedules have been designed to keep the area open to business as usual as far as possible.
