A361 speed reduction at Shipton-under-Wychwood

Motorists on the A361 Station Road in Shipton-under-Wychwood will soon have to obey a new 30mph speed limit.

Following formal consultation, the existing 40mph at the east end of the village is to be cut after the parish council had raised concerns over road safety for residents and visitors to the area.

Approval for the work was given today by the county council’s Cabinet Member for Environment, Yvonne Constance.
