Young computer buffs wanted for Code Club

The library is planning to host the scheme for nine to 11-year-olds to learn how to make games, animations and websites.

Volunteer-led sessions will be held on Saturdays from 10-11am. Anyone interested in taking part should speak to staff or call 01235 520374.

Library Manager Lynn Moores said: “This is a great opportunity for children to learn more about coding in a fun environment. We’d like to hear from anyone interested in getting involved.”

Code Club is a nationwide network of after school coding clubs for children.
