Waiting restrictions to be introduced on Brashfield Road and Granville Way, Bicester

New waiting restrictions are to come in to force in Brashfield Road and Granville Way, Bicester.

The decision was taken by Oxfordshire County Council after concerns over the obstruction of traffic were and road safety were raised as a result of on-street waiting at a number of locations within the town.

A formal consultation was first held in autumn 2016 with changes suggested by local people and organisations being factored in. A further consultation then followed in March and April 2017.

A final decision was taken by Oxfordshire County Council’s Cabinet Member for Environment & Economy, Cllr Yvonne Constance, on September 7.
