TRAFFIC: Overnight closures in the Oxford area to be aware of

The first phase (1 of 3) of the Kennington Road resurfacing project finishes on Saturday night (13 October) and the usual road closure will be in place while the crews work.

If you plan to travel on the local road network be aware that the A423 Southern By-Pass (between the Old Abingdon Road/Kennington Road Slip and the Kennington Hamburger Roundabout) will also be closed in both directions for one night so that traffic management for the now-complete bridge work can be removed.

There will be a signed diversion and extra signage but it may be best to avoid the area during the closures if you can.
