Sandford on Thames 50mph limit to be extended
A speed limit has been extended in Sandford On Thames to aid safety following a decision taken by Oxfordshire County Council.
People were recently consulted on proposals to extend the 50mph speed limit southwards on the A4074 Sandford on Thames bypass, and to prohibit U turns at a new signalled junction.
The proposals were made in anticipation of a development on the east side of the A4074 Sandford on Thames bypass. The existing 50mph speed limit will be extended to include a new signalled junction with the development. U turns will also be prohibited on both the A4074 approaches to this junction.
