Proposal to change bypass speed limit at Sandford-on-Thames

Oxfordshire County Council is proposing to extend the 50mph limit on the A4074 Sandford Bypass dual-carriageway southwards by 250 metres, reducing the existing national speed limit (70mph) by the same amount.

The council is also proposing to prohibit U-turns on the A4074 in either direction at a new signalled junction being constructed to give access to the development.

The proposals are being made in response to the continued development of land to the east side of the A4074.

Objections to the proposals and other representations, specifying the grounds on which they are made, may be sent in writing (quoting ref: CM/12.6.335) to the address below or by completing an online questionnaire here  by 28 July 2017.
