More progress on the Harwell Link Road

The changeable weather hasn’t hampered the team working on the Harwell Link Road project. 

The crew are continuing to make good progress across the site as the photos show. On the north roundabout, there will shortly be a traffic management changeover and pedestrians will be diverted on to the permanent footpath.

The tarmac on the roundabout will then be completed. Meanwhile, on the south roundabout, signs and lighting columns are being erected.

Kerb laying will continue and be completed soon. On the link road itself, drainage work, including manholes and gullies is underway.

Pond lining work is ongoing and the team will shortly start building a headwall - a small retaining wall at the culvert outlet.
