Man arrested after incident in Banbury

Oxfordshire County Council locked down the building for the safety of staff who operate from this office. Frontline staff occasionally have to deal with difficult situations during the course of their work and the council has procedures in place ready to be activated in response. The council treats staff safety as a matter of the utmost importance.

During the course of the afternoon Thames Valley Police informed the council that an arrest has now been made in connection with this incident.”
