Help to combat commuter parking for residents in Cattlemarket area of Banbury

Residents concerned about increasing commuter parking in their areas of Banbury will see new restrictions introduced to mitigate the problem.

Oxfordshire County Council’s Cabinet Member for Environment and Economy has approved plans for waiting restrictions to be introduced in the Cattlemarket and Waterloo Drive areas of the town.

However similar proposals for nearby Merton Street in Banbury will not proceed after residents there objected.

The changes were approved on April 27 and will be implemented in the coming months.
