Free parking for Small Business Saturday

Small Business Saturday will see small independent retailers across the county – ranging from clothing and gift stores, to whole foods shops and restaurants – taking part.  Many of the retailers will be offering discounts on the day.

Small Business Saturday is a national campaign to highlight the important role played by small businesses in the local and national economy.

Councillor Ian Hudspeth, Leader of Oxfordshire County Council said: “We know how important small businesses are to our local economy and wanted to recognise the value that they bring to the county.

“We hope by offering free parking at our park and ride sites on Small Business Saturday, it will deliver a boost to small and independent retailers.

“With just a few days to go until Saturday 5 December, I would encourage everyone to show their support for small firms across the county who are working hard to rebuild our local economy.”
