Inspired by the season, we’ve scoured our activities directory (which is free to advertise on by the way) for a taste of the best events in the run up to Christmas.

 

H J Jungling Forest School family events (Christmas)

Saturday 17th December 2016

Join us for our Christmas event in the Wild Gardens in Shipton under Wychwood. This event is for families to enjoy getting outdoors together. There will be Christmas crafts and activities with refreshments included in the cost as well as a small gift from Father Christmas!

Oxford Food Bank Christmas Lunch

Sunday 25 December

The Oxford Food Bank is organising a community Christmas Day lunch, with food donated by local supermarkets. It’s not just for those who have used our services, or those who might otherwise be alone for Christmas – it’s for everyone who fancies some festive cheer.

Badger's Colourful Christmas at the River & Rowing Museum

Wednesday 21 December

Delight in festive family fun with Badger, Ratty and their friends. Create your own colourful paper chains, stained glass decorations and sparkly angels. Join in the carol singing and make a Christmas badger for the top of your tree. Come in your best Christmas jumper!

Childrens' Christmas Fundays at Sudgrave Manor

Sunday 11th & 18th December 10am - 4pm

Fun Sundays Festive fun in the run up to Christmas. We're open every Sunday for games, crafts and child friendly house tours. Child and 2 adults £10 per group. Additional adults £6 per person.

Christmas at Oxford Castle

26th November - 18th December

Join a specially themed festive tour at the castle prison on weekends from 26 November, when a compelling character tour guide will regale you with tales of Saxon, Norman, Georgian and Victorian Christmas celebrations as you journey through the castle buildings.

Santa Steam Special at Chinnor & Princes Risborough Railway

10-11, 17-18 22 & 24 December

The Chinnor & Princes Risborough Railway is located in the village of Chinnor in rural Oxfordshire. Santa and his Elves will visit every family during the journey and they will provide quality presents for all fare-paying children and young people between the ages of 1-15.
