Banbury Library Springs into Summer!

The ground floor of the library is more open and easier to get around for everyone. The ground floor is also a flexible space which will be used for audience events which has been difficult in the past.

Library Manager, Angela Kingdom said: “The re-organisation of this area really shows-off our excellent range of books, whether it is crime fiction or cookery; gardening, graphic novels or biography. We have so much to offer this spring, whether it is travel guides for your holidays or recommendations for holiday reads, this is the place to come.”

Councillor Lorraine Lindsay-Gale, Oxfordshire County Council’s Cabinet Member for Cultural Services, said: “Banbury Library is a great library that has served Oxfordshire’s second biggest settlement for many a year.

“We hope library users will enjoy the activities that are planned over coming months. Maybe we’ll be able to attract some brand new library users through the Summer!”
