Speed limit change approved on Coxwell Road, Faringdon

An extension of the 30mph speed limit on Coxwell Road in Faringdon has been approved as part of work to create access for a new development.

The extension of the speed limit was proposed by developers and neither Thames Valley Police and the Vale of the White Horse District Council raised any objection to the plan during recent public consultation.

The 30 mph speed limit will now extend 185m southwards beyond the point at which the road currently changes to the national speed limit – just south of Faringdon

Oxfordshire County Council approved the change on April 3.
